Ferry port parking

Cathching ferry from Harwich early Thursday. Does anyone know if they let you park up overnight at the ferry port.
Or anyone know of any sites nearby - ferry is at 9.00am.

If your going on stena line, folk camp up in campers and motorhomes to the left near the small building (think it maybe a toilet block) as soon as you enter the parking area for lineing up to have your tickets checked . used to travel this way till they got rid of the fast ferry to hook van holland.
