Ok so its time to say hi , i have been lurkin around for a while , watchin the superb vids , chattin to some of you at shows etc and generally missing my wedge .
At present i own a 72 westy which is in the final stages of being back on the road , but --
The thing is each time i look at a syncro i get that - i want one a them - feeling ,i miss my t25 mainly because it was road worthy and campable but do not want to part with my beloved westy .
Soooo , what sort of money will get me a decent synchro , what should i watch out for etc etc , are they worth the hastle i mean will i be camping in it or fixing it most of the time ,million questions to ask before i part with me hard earned , but that will do for now
Good to meet some of ya at camperjam ,nice turnout by you lot

A SYNCRO ... ( see how I spell that ) is no more unreliable than any other T25 or normal vehicle! They break, they rust and wear out. Make sure the prop is on when you test it .... and £7500 will get you a decent Syncro ...... and so will £5000 .....

And I'm sure Andrew says welcome...
If you have a looksie on the wiki there's a 'what to look for' on there
Although, I would be partial to spelling SYNCRO correctly, mind you may find a few ebay bargains through mis-spelling

Yes I do ...... and Pete is right, there are some bargains to be had but there is no such thing as a cheap Syncro. But then, you could be lucky!

Thanks all , and soz i am not completely illiterate and it was only a slip of the finger really
i reckon i will be in the market for a SYNCRO just after christmas , talking to some of the guys at cj mention was made of the running gear , which was what i should have asked about in my og post , i mean how on earth can a relative novice ( although i am lorry driver of 30 years exp ) tell when the running gear is on the way out , noises , rattles poor maintainence like lack of grease , poor gear change or just a general kackie feel when driving .
i have loadsa questions and i am trying to read up on em as much as poss but feel sure you guys can say more in a short post than some of the long winded arm chair writers do in a book , cheers all goin to swot up on me spelling now .
i must spell syncro corectly .
