Probably a daft question, but how easy is it to fit the spare wheel to the front of the van?

Do you not think it will restrict the airflow to your radiator?

I've no idea (hence he question). I just spotted it on pics of someone's van and thought it looked cool. Or that may be "hot" if it affects the radiator...

How did they get around this problem with the Bays ?

still worth a go putting it on the front ...

air flow will be restricted , but how much its hard to say.

obviously if it had a cover over the wheel , it would block more , could make a cover with vent holes ? even mesh style
even have no cover if you have a nice wheel.

Also if it was not mounted completly flush , air would travel around it and behind.

On a hot day it's too much of a risk.. that radiator is huge and needs a good airflow through it.
If VW didn't think it was worth it they wouldn't have ruined the front with that second grill.

God knows these old ladies get the hot flushes often enough without making it worse :D
