You could always use Blue Hills - the site we use for the Bashtie. Gary and Lou (the owners) are very pro 80-90. Basic facilities, but clean with unlimited hot water. Fridge/Freezer/Washer/Dryer/Microwave for use by campers. Walking distance (albeit down a steep hill!) to a pebbly beach but not far from St Agnes (Trevaunance Cove) which is beautiful. Pay to park in the pub car park, spend the day on the beach and then get your money back with a well-earned pint of Doombar at the Driftwood Spars!

Hi, I agree with the Valley, at Polzeath. Its sheltered but a short walk down a dusty road to the beach ( great for surfing too ) Also Tristram campsite is good , a bit pricey but good facilities , and in view of the waves from your van ! The only drawback is if the wind gets up its a bit exposed. Happy Holiday.......

Hi

having been to both I would recommend Valley every time......

We were last there in May and weather was fantastic (which helps) .

Plan to revisit out of season and without family the 2nd weekend in sept for a "dads" long weekend away... 4/5 dads bodyboarding ........and wasting good money on beer and hiring a surf board !

Regards
