wild camping in wales and lake district

any tips people?
Got four wheel drive, so can be off the beaten track
trying to do 2 weeks without paying, i should have a couple to start with in wales and the lakes, but need a few more.
Any places appreciated

Wales is great for wild camping, usually you will just stumble across places.
we always take an o/s map with us which is even more useful with a syncro :D

Cheers, I've got some OS maps coming in the next day or so, should be able to pinpoint some places then

ystradfellte is an excellent place for wild camping.miles of mountain and rivers at your disposal.only see the odd car and campervan.beautiful scenery.im sure someone on here put a video on youtube of it.they were crossing a ford in a blue syncro
