welcome to "fitting a refrigerator to a panel van".

wanted to keep the van looking stock and like a panel van.

in this episode, we are going to find out if the fridge can be fitted next to the sliding door?

also, do you absolutely have to cut a square out of the bodywork for the electrolux vent and pipe?

can the pipe be passed out of a front window slightly open with a piece of plastic on top, with a hole cut out in summer months?

or will the van need to be a bit butchered for such luxuries owing to the nature of fridges in vans?

If you're going to use it on gas then fit the fridge as per manufactures instructions, not really worth the risk doing it any other way

I can't see how you could hang the exhaust out of a window without exceeding the exhaust length specification. You could get away with having a large dropout/vent combined under the van and no large vent, but this will lose you considerable cooling efficiency. You still need the exhaust at the standard length through the side.

This is assuming that you are talking about using a fridge on gas.

yep, i have taken a look at a manual and it seems that it's strict on length of exhaust and mounting points for optimum cooling, it seems that it will have to be heeded because a fridge is quite advantageous when out and about. first fridge vent, wanted to keep it stock, next solar panel, more holes in the old girl! but then it would be worth it i am sure.

just do this to the cover, will look quality, but i am a stickler for shiny stuff. only took an hour. either that or paint it the same as ya wagon.
