1.6D CR Engine Fit?

Hi there,
I am considering devolving from my current 1.7 KY to a 1.6 non turbo as I am losing confidence in the KY and there are no parts for it where I am in Chile. I have come across an old 1.6 Jetta engine, with prefix CR that is in good shape and is pretty cheap. Just wondering if this is a straight throw-in or if any mods are needed, specifically an alignment plate for the gear box. I haven't given my motor a close inspection at the gear box, but maybe someone out there is familiar enough with the pattern to say whether it looks like a match...I'll get a gear box code up here pronto as well.
