setting the throttle lever SB gtd

i foolishly moved the splined spindle on the injection pump on a SB gtd engine i have just fitted to my syncro, the engine runs and ticks over, but i took it for a test drive and i feel i am only getting part throttle. Also i cant here the turbo spool up, is the a set up procedure or does someone have the knowledge to help me.

undo nut at top of throttle shaft and JUST slide up the throttle arm so it clears the spines. With a pair of small needle nose pliers etc gently hold onto the top of the spindle and rotate it anticlockwise.
Do it one notch at a time. You will be able to tell quite easily when you have it bob on , will obviously idle spot on and start to pick up as soon as your off the stop.
