My seats are a tad uncomfortable due to old age so i'm looking at getting some new ones. Saab I thought as i've read they are a good fit.......had a look on Ebay and thought again after seeing the price, £170 for the ones I was looking at!!!
So then can I get some recommendations for an alternative, so far it's Saab or Mr2. Anything else???
Thank you

the only things that fit with NO work are T25 seats
as for everything else it depends on how you are with a welder and how much time you have
I have the middle seats from a Vw Sharan in mine they are comfy, have arm rests and when camping they fold over and have picknick tables on the back.
but it took a lot of time and effort to do it but anything is possibel.

That sounds like a great idea, i'm not a welder but i can turn my hand at most things. I'll keep looking and I'm sure something will take my fancy
Thanks for your reply
Kevin.

Is no bad idea (if they'll give you permission) to tour a sizeable scrapyard and see what takes your fancy. I used to swap out beetle seats as they were never designed for someone with a normal spine so tended to go for two-door Datsun seats as they folded forward like Beetle ones. Basically you want something that sits around the same height as stock ones (measure roughly from seat top to whatever fittings hold seat down) and use that as a guide. As said, LOTS can be made to fit and if you catch scrapyard owner on a good day you can get them really cheap.
Certainly no need to get fixated on SAAB ones.

Saab ones sit quite high. If you can cope with sore legs from the steering wheel in the event of a bump then go for it. I changed mine back to captains after a long but non-urgent search when a bargain set came up.

We've got a pair of Richmond seats in our van. They already had T25 runners on them when we bought them so went straight in, they've also got armrests and lumber support in them. We paid £80 (classified ad in MMM)for them but they're currently being recovered. They were actually in really good nick but have taken the plunge and decided to have it done as the bed is pretty knackered.....
