Hi there,
Has anyone had any experience in removing the rain gutters from their van? My van is in the body shop at the moment and they asked me if I'd thought of having them removed as they are like rocking horse s**t to find and pretty rough. They are talking about cutting them off, welding them up and then filling etc...
Can anyone see any downsides or problems to having them removed?
Any info welcome.
Thanks
Tommy

Are you talking about removing the gutters and doing away with them completely,

More water running down the side of your van.....might look a bit funny as well...
Depends how badly gone they are.......it wouldn't be too hard to weld in some new sections...

A bit like de-sealing a mini or beetle, kinda smooth

Decided against it in the end but am looking to find some 'new' ones for the future...
Thanks for the comments tho!
