Hi guys

was just wondering what your opinions on Zig units are - have read some good and bad things so thought why not ask the experts

Is this something to do with Sesame St'?

They were originally designed for caravans. Depends which Zig unit but at best they're just a 240v/12v trickle charge and 12v distribution device. The simpler ones are just 3 way fuse boxes with misleading battery charge indication LED's. Look good though..............
