Hi all,

Has anyone on here tried the libby bong method of filling the cooling system from the samba, tried it yesterday to fill my coolant and thought it was the best thing since sliced white
Took no time at all to get all the coolant in with very little bleeding required, you could hear the air being forced out as well (then coolant out of the radiator bleed after i got a bit carried away ).
Didnt magically solve all my other cooling probs tho !

thought that was a smoking device for "herbal" substances,will have to look at the samba.com about it,never heard of it before

well if it works, its something else to try if the standard method doesn't work.

It definitely works, quite clever idea must have waaaaay to much spare time.

Due to a few old hoses (and and engine swap) Ive recently had to bleed my system more that 10 times in the last couple of months
I made a Libby bong similar to the ones on the samba.

and YES it works a treat every time.
