Hi Everyone,

I have now removed, cleaned, re-drilled both earth points, above the fuse box, replaced any spade terminals that seemed loose, checked the indicator stalk connections and all spade terminal connectors to front indicators have been replaced. I have checked the fit of every lamp and that the connectors into the rear lamps are clean. The indicators and rear lights still do not look as bright as the should do they all work but not as bright as I would like, has anyone improved theirs in anyway?

any advice would be great :D

Hello,

just a thought - have you cleaned up and checked the earthing point in the engine bay? All the rear lights earth through these I think

Are you checking the brightness against another van,?
Inside the light box the silvering may be deteriorating.
But they aren't the best at the best of times.
I was so fed up with the poor quality of rear illumination... I removed the dang things altogether!
and made these

A bit drastic but they sure are bright

You could try illuminating each bulb independently with another battery and croc clips and leads (just to see if it is an earth fault)
