LPG tank mounting

I've got the doka booked in for an LPG conversion next week. Before I give the confirmation on tank size and mounting I wanted to just bring the idea to the table.

The plan is to mount a tank on the loadbed, below the back window and then box it in (wooden box temporarily followed by an aluminium one. This keeps my locker and under seat spaces free and avoids the bodywork being cut for a filler pipe.

I can't think of any implications, but any thoughts guys?

Cheers!

Shame you havent had a look at mine..
But if you can stand the loss of a bit of space on the back, then its ideal..

For me, my twin tank set up works great.. still useable locker space, some underseat storage and BIG capacity (104L of gas)
Under the seat and maxing it out was the next option, the space isnt much use when traveling with the kids etc.. but wouldnt have got quite as much capacity but could have retained a little storage space for emergency spares etc.. you could fit a shorter tank in there, if you dont need the range of a big tank..

On the back was my third option. but meant I couldnt kip in the back on the odd occasion (DubFreeze etc :rofl )

I need all the storage underneath. Most of my tools are longer than the halfway point, with many going door to door in the locker area. The underseat area is dominated by the factory eberspatcher, with only the section in the middle. As distance isn't the major factor I may go for a small tank in there and find somewhere else for my gerrycans and hand-tools. I'm finding it a ballache to lift the seat all the time anyway! I may even go for a spare-wheel type in the spare-wheel spot!
