Its hard to see from picture exactly what you're after. what size etc. but try searching the web for sheet metal. have a look at ebay item number 270764073920. or I would guess most of the big DIY places (homebase, wicks or B&Q) would do some smaller size pieces, but they probably will charge a lot more.

Thanks for that. It looks like the thing I might need. Will go see if b&q have a similar sort of thing.

Stainless steel sheet 3mm, as available from good steel merchants. Try ringing round and see if they'll guillotine a piece to size for you.

B&Q do that sort of stuff, but its monumentally expensive.

Ian, 3mm is a bit thick----------ish(1/8")
0.6 ,24g ish wuld do, call at a sheet metal type place, could always use thin zintec, dirt cheap

Try a shop fitters they may have some off cuts left over from the last Kebap house the done.
