Anyone had a Autosleeper Trident (1986 with double bed in hi-top) converted to lpg?
What tank fits?

I have just measured up and seems that the under seat 70 litre tank wont go in as the seat is not far enough forward of the engine bay bulkhead.
Next best option would be a 65 litre 'spare wheel' tank in the rear wardrobe. Has anyone fitted/had one fitted? or do i need to consider another size tank.

Any tips would be very much appreciated.

I've got that tank in my Holdsworth, had to take the wardrobe out and refit it after the installation. If you've a high top the loss of the robe is not significant, don't really notice in my pop top.

I have a lpg converted 1986 Autosleeper.
The tank fitted was the largest available underbed tank (72L, 240miles)

The seat bulkhead was unscrewed an removed for tank fitting along with a hole being cut in the lower storage box side. (300mm dia.)
The seat was moved forward 150mm and the back rests were repositioned.
finaly the parcel shelf was recessed to acommodate the storage bin.

I've taken the easy option of a tank in the rear wardrobe, undergoing 'the change' in two weeks .... can't wait, and looking forward to some nice cheap long trips
