Juddery gears

HI THERE

Just wanting some advice really....recently had issues with the clutch, I believe the clutch cable had been connected using the wrong sort of nut which meant that there was no ability for it to be altered. The mechanic at the garage has done a bi of a quick fix by using a hose clip to hold it in place, and he's pretty confident that it will hold until I'm ready to get it all looked at properly.

My issue is that since the clutch went and has been fixed the van is ridiculously juddery when changing into 1st and 2nd gear. Does anybody have an idea what this is? Or if there is a way of lessening it??

Cheers

Buffy

Clutch judder?

This is caused by a few things
1. Oil contamination from a worn crank seal
2. Oil contamination from a worn gearbox oil seal
3. worn or broken engine mounts

I had all three...

As above ^^^ could also be the spigot bearing, especially if somebody has just had the box out and damaged it on the way back in
