Hi all, my electrolux rm212 has been working less and less efficiently over the last 3 years, not cooling at all now on 12v, 240 or gas.
Can anyone point me towards someone who can regass it for me. I live in the Reading area.
Cheers, Clive
:ok

Hi matey,

Im not entirely sure if you can re gas them. If you havent found all the lovely helpful tips about fridge servicing in the WIKI guide ^^^^^^^ up there look, the take you fridge out of your van (if you can) and turn it upside down overnight, then back the right way again overnight, the service all components of the fridge. ie, cleaning the gas jet and exhaust flue, checking all earths, checking the heating elements of 240v and 12v work independently.

Best of luck, and check out the Wiki guide. Its really good :ok

Best its been in a long time. So thanks for the advice.
Just one more thing, anyone know how long the fridge works ok for before I have to upend it again?

20 years or so so long as it gets regular use.
