i want to fit new seats to my camper, and like most others are considering saab etc..... However checking with my insurance policy , i may be uninsured if i have to adapt any seat to fit . does anybody know the rules on this, and can i get seats certificated as safe.

Dunno, but why not keep an eye out for some captain's seats?
A lot easier than fabricating Saab or other seats to fit.
