Autohomes buddy seat.

Hey all. I'm trying to get new flooring down but need to get the buddy seat out. Here's the rub. The wooden box the seat sits on is bolted onto runners and the runners are bolted through the floor. This means I can't get two spanners on to get them off. Is there a secret way of undoing a bolt and nut when you can only get to one end? One of the bolts is above the tank too which will be a pain in the Harris. Any ideas? Cheers.

IIRC the fixing above the tank is a big self tapper, not a bolt and nut.
For the other three, you can put an open ended spanner on them above the floor. It will wedge on something on the way round. Then get under the van and undo the nut.

That's the trouble, I can't get a spanner on the bolt head because the runner is in the way. I reckon the grinder might have to come out. Wish the rest of the van was so well put together.

Forgot the T25 rule. 'when in doubt, get the grinder out'. Cheers to Rainman and Simple. The box was suspect, 12mm ply so just ripped it out. You do remember correctly Mr fox it was a self tapper. Phew. Rebuilt a more secure box and now I can slide the seat and swivel it. Simple pleasures. Thanks all.
