Only campsite I can recommend is the one near Interlaken at Iseltwald - Camping du Lac. Fabulous! You need to get a vignette to use the motorways and main roads. You can buy these before you go - sometimes some on Ebay (only valid for 1 Jan to 31 Dec, so people tend to sell them on after their trip) or approx £27 from SwissPass.com. Not worth travelling without - you can but if you are caught I believe the fines are quite heavy. Have fun!

according to your only other post you plan on going to the montreaux jazz festival. i can only advise you that every campsite and hotel /b&b is full then and you have not a hope in hell of getting even parked anywhere near the lac.
i'd suggest trying some places slightly up the hills inland or further away on the lac and take yer bike or get the bus/train.

you only need to buy the motorway sticker if you drive on the motorways ( autoroute/ autobahn/ autostrada) costs still 40 CHuffs and is valid for 14 months which means that the current one is valid from 1st dec 2010 till 28 feb 2012( unless that's a leapyear in which case it'd be till the 29th).

hope you have a trouble free trip, this can be an expensive country to break down in.
