So, my next Syncro....what spec?

It's been a week now since the van was stolen and I have major withdrawal symptoms. I find myself needing to buy another to fill the void which is a)dangerous, b)expensive and c)irrational.

In the event I have instead spent my time and energy getting my '84 G-Wagen roadworthy- something that needed doing badly.

I now find myself considering that my van may never return as was or in any usable/recognisable form and have to resign myself to the possibility. I do intend to replace it with another Syncro based camper but with the advantage of hindsight this time am reviewing my requirements which are slightly different to the last van after 2 years of ownership and some camping try-outs.

My criteria was:
LHD, 2.1 petrol, window bus, power steering, Recaros, swivel base on passenger, buddy box, 240v/12v/Gas, Onboard LPG and water tanks, lift kit, full Westy interior & toys, Westy roof, 16" Pentas, wheel carrier, ladder, SA front grilles, roofrack.

This time though I have more experience building the van, a better idea of materials and a clearer idea of how things will be used and work out. As such the spec would now be something like:

RHD, turbo diesel (ready for a TDi conversion, for which I have the Syncro engine protection, bellhousing, engine mounts and bars, breathers, input shaft etc), power steering, Recaros, buddy box, swivel base on passenger, 240v/12v/Gas, Onboard LPG and water tanks, 944 CV joints, Futbus lift kit, CV protectors, HD front springs, custom Westy style interior (to be built for RHD by a carpenter friend with some changes to cupboards), compressor fridge, 15" Audi wheels, Westy roof, wheel carrier, tailgate storage, roofrack.

I'm going to waste some time making a proper list and knocking up some detailed 'concept drawings' of the final idea. I just wondered if anyone had more/alternate suggestions or found anything they particularly liked in their vans?
