2 way fridge

Hi All

Got a dilema i have been offered a 2 way fridge ie gas,12v now i would like to get something that i can hook up to the mains but convert down to 12volts when i camp can i get anything that will cope with the fridge

I think it will draw too many amps for a transformer mate
why not use the gas... , they don't use much

I'm sure someone with a twin slider tried venting out of the wheel arch too; way, way back - can't remember if it worked though.

The fridge will draw just under 9 amps at 12v but that will drop to less than 0.5 amp at 230v, (I'm pretty certain the elements are about 100W).

all sorted got myself a 3 way fridge is it true to make them better to turn it upside down overnight??

if its been sat around then yes on its top for 24hrs mixes the gasses up in side again!
