Hi does anyone know if its possible to remove and possibly replace the plastic section of the oil filler neck on a 2.1 dj as mine is cracked.

I'm told it is possible but I've never managed it myself or even seen it done.

Some plastic padding leak fix may do the trick for a repair, not used it bit if says its good against petrol.

Hi mine too was split but near the end, i cut a little bit off & reattached & its ok, i did see a replacement pipe i think i saw it on the jk website....

A fewcheap on e bay from a north wales supplier

Mine removed itself from the metal pipe and is now held with a clip
