any ideas how to open the glovebox of a passat,the handle has broken off and may be locked,have managed to partly open it as the right hand side has opened about 1/2 inch but the left hand side is solid,thanks for any ideas

an ounce of PE or a crow bar

may come to that but was hoping to not break anything before replacing glovebox lid
