Any Recommedations??

Hi,
As our holiday looms closer and closer (and we still have a few jobs to do on the van) am feeling a little anxious that we really should be more prepared than we are! We have booked our tunnel crossing and figured out a rough route through belgium, luxemburg, germany and ending at zurich. But there's such a huge amount of places along the way we can't decide where to stop and camp and from what I've found ont'tinternet the campsites around northern switzerland don't look much cop!
So was wondering if any of you well travelled folk could recommend any sites (or warn us off any others!). We have 3 kids so would need to be child friendly.
Thanks! xx

2 years ago we stayed here ...
http://www.camping-belchenblick.de/html ... egbgr.html it has shared used of the nearby village swimming pool and although not cheap it included free local train travel as far as Basel (yawn) and Freiburg im Breisgau (which looked lovely as we drove through) Switzerland is wonderful, we stayed here ...
http://campingdulac.ch/pages/english/welcome.php. Again not cheap and included free bus down into Interlaken which is stunning, as is the whole area.
Ian.

There's always someone has to spoil the ambiance by hanging the bloody washing out

The black forest is fantastic. As for belgium-luxembourg you will not struggle to find good campsites! They are everywhere, however we stayed at this one in lux-
http://www.campingkrouneberg.lu" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and it was really good. There was an indoor pool but be warned!! NO shorts, trunks only, they wouldnt let me in! I argued that it was not the 1980's but they didnt care.
Belgium is lovely too, and we stayed here-

Nice site, nice people.
The the campsite in interlaken that people have posted was amazing, not cheap but BEAUTIFUL, i would go there again in a heartbeat. I cant find details of the other sites we stayed on, but it was an amazing trip that i will never forget!! Hope you enjoy!

2 years ago it was £100 for 3 nights for a T25, 2 adults & 2 children, all pitches have electric and free public transport to Interlaken Ost (the big transport hub for the area), free wifi, a bar/restaraunt is at the entrance to the site and run by the site owner's son.
A guy at work paid more than that in Newquay

The Hulleys WILL be going back for a week next year, Carolyn & Bernie and Kev & Louise went back last year.

loads of great campsites on your route:
if you want an early stopover loads of good sites in Nieuwpoort Belgium, I've stayed in a couple there always been really good.
Clervaux Lux - only one site here cool place to stop if you are there during the week - not on a Monday - The Family of Man photography exhibition is there premanently now
This is a nice spot right on the lake camping-buehlhof.de in Titisee-Neustadt - name appealed to me had to stay in titisee

...and thanks again for more useful info, chuckling to myself about the shorts ban in the pool, I can't see my hubby and son being seen dead in trunks
