To clean or not to clean??
My engine bay is caked in old oil...I've had work done to fix the oil leaks & removed some mostly from the underneath, but I'm thinking about an engine clean up....
Any problems with me gettign stuck in with a can of GUNK or equivalent etc??

Cover every thing with plastic around the interior! Gunk away but when comes to washing it off, either hose or pressure washer, run the engine!!!!! saves loads of time working out why it dont wanna go as water has got it a plug somewhere!

Had another go removing oil from the engine bay and underside..Noticed Oil around the spark plug housing which I'm puzzled about...
I didn't pressure wash in the engine bay for fear of causing damage, but it is better. After a long drive this weekend (380 mile round trip to Aylesbury), there is a small oil leak, it appears to be pretty fresh oil?? The long trip will have made the oil hot & thin & therefore show up leaks...but still not sure where from??
