ta for that thought mate iv checked that and its fine,it clicks when i turn the key on,just found another break in the same pipe so i must have been sucking more air into the system and killing the battery at the same time!!,what are those pipes between the injectors for i wonder? im no mechanic i will admit. helppppp!!

those rubber pipes are bleed off pipes and make no affect on running, have you bled the injectors since cracking injector one off???

exactly that!!!!!! Right get a helper, any age will do al long as they can turn a key on and off, you then stand at engine, slacken all the injector pipes off a couple of turns, helper cranks engine, once you see plenty of fuel coming out the pipe tighten um up once you have three bled and tight it will try and start, once the last one is tight jobs a good un!

I've been a mechanic for a fair few years , and even on dervs that are self bleeding get bled!

is there a hand pump on the filter ???? there should be some way of gettin the fuel up to the pump manually ? I havent touched a vw t35 derv set up in ages!

There isn't - worst luck .(I have one on my boat engine and it is a godsend)
Going back to the first post - it seem as though there was a vacuum in the lines (hissing sound). Maybe there is a blockage in the fuel line at/to the tank or filler cap? Maybe it would be worth running it from a line in a can of fuel to see exactly where the problem is.

no unfortuneately but i know where i can get one.i took the filler cap off and i just poured derv directly into the pump and tried again but still no luck.

How did you manage to pour fuel directly into the pump? That's an impossibility!
