'Ratty' isn't starting up =[

Hi guys, any help and suggestions would be MASSIVELY appreciated..

'Ratty' has been parked up over winter and isn't starting. Last run was a few hundred miles which he did fine.

He is a petrol/lpg 1.9 T25.

So firstly, he has fuel and a brand new battery. Checked coil and that's good too.

Fuel pump is fine and i'm quite sure petrol is getting to the carb.

Not getting a spark from plugs when tested but more interestingly no spark from HT coil lead, could this be broke or is a low tension circuit problem more likely?

Also, after repeatedly failing to start, spark plugs are totally dry which seems amiss

Lpg is empty, could it be stuck on somehow and naughtily stopping the petrol?

That's pretty much it! Where do i start?? Cheers guys!

Yes HT leads can go bad, about £30 quid a set from memory but if there aint no spark engine aint gonna run! Test the HT leads for impededence (sp!) they are rated at a number of ohms stamped into the metal casings on the long ones I cant remember the king lead ohm rating.

Thanks for the reply Hacksawbob

I'll do that first. Hopefully that is the problem/one of the problems, £30 isn't bad at all!

:D
