This pipe comes out the brake pressure regulator and then heads under the diesel tank.

Does anyone know where the other end is?

Hiya mate isn't that the 'front to rear' and the one that goes to the brass 3 way connector piece O/S/R.

Not the easiest to change as the tank usually needs dropping in order to safely secure the pipe (there are moving gear sellector rods in the same local)

I replaced most of mine two years ago including this particular one. I didn't drop the tank and chose to struggle like a barsteward routeing the new pipe close to the O/S chassis rail and away from the gear linkage as mentioned. However, I did have it on the ramp at the time and can fully understand why most people drop the tank.
4 Months ago I replaced my petrol tank so was able to 'finish the job properly' and cable tie the pipe securly, thankfully the pipe had been away from the linkage but as I say, therein lies the danger when opting not remove the tank.
Getting the unions out the brass '3 way splitter' was also a pig but as I was replacing the rears as well I was able to just cut the pipes and use a ring spanner and vise grips to remove the unions.

Use Cupro/Nickel brake pipe (Kunifer), it's a little stiffer so stays where you put it, all the unions are M10 male (think they were the slightly longer ones with a 'lead')

Hi,

I agree with Martin, goes over/through tank and to rear T piece. Did this job a few weeks ago.

As said access to nuts on T is poor, I would say pretty impossible to remove insitu when corroded. Allow for replacing both rear pipes at same time, but check you can undo the unions to the flexies first.

I also managed to secure pipe through tank by pre-threading pipe with clips and zip ties and then securing through existing holes in chassis member. Very fiddly but managed one at each end so nice and secure, passed MOT week later.

Good luck, I replaced every rigid and flexi pipe on the van and it's a great feeling when all the doubt about corroded pipes goes.

Mine went in exactly the same place. As everybody says, goes to the t piece at the back. Had to replace all the rear pipes and hoses as they were all seized and had to take a grinder to them to get them off! Was a bugger to do but at least its done now. Didnt drop the tank to do it but am definitely going to drop in now to make sure it doesnt foul the gear linkage. I've also misplaced the screw that holds the t piece on. Anybody know what size it is?
