Hi, Bit of a dumb question here......

I've taken the AAZ crankshaft oil seal housing off (along with the sump) to check for a leak. I dont have a new paper gasket to use when I replace it (got a nice new sump one) but I do have some Dirko sealing compound.

Any issues with using this and not using a gasket ? if so, where can i get one quickly ?

If its a paper gasket it will cost naff all, go to your local vw dealer and they should be able to get it for you.
