Came up with this to divide front seats from rear when required (ie privacy) or to warm front cab on cold winter evening - length of pole dropped into two ordinary domestic pipe clips (loads in a bag for 99p) screwed flat against B pillar. The pole drops into open end of clip so could be removed easily. Only one curtain pulled across. Each is held when not in use by curtain ties with heavy-duty press stud to van sides. All my curtains are lined which helps cut out light first thing in the morning.

Hi Covkid. You're timing couldn't be better. I've just started fitting the curtain rails and decided to leave the two l shaped ones for round the windscreen til the end. Now you've given some food for thought. Off on my hols to Spain tomorrow for two weeks so will finish the job on my return.
So looks like our first camping trip will be mid June Woo-Hoo

we have done it like that too but ours is on a net curtain wire so we can take it down when we want to transit through to the rear. (so i dont hang myself on it)

Nice idea, beats the sring between two coat hooks I'm currently using!
I was consdering building a small storage unit across the top there and screwing some curtain runners to that, I think I will try your solution instead first.

We use a similar set up for when the little fella is asleep on a hammock over the front seats. We use a external silver screen around the outside of the front window, little fella in hammock and curtain to separate his little area. Means we can stay up with the lights on in the main van and chillax.
