Hello, we have a 1.9 van with 38k on the clock , its a 1984 mini bus when we set of there is a judder from the rear but gos away when moveing. Is this the engine mounts/ gearbox mounts??? how do you change them?? we will be towing are teardrop to BVF so if it is the mounts do you do the lot at the same time?? thanks for looking . Andy

Two reasons ... probably combined
clutch judder is caused by oil contamination on the flywheel, from either the gearbox oil seal or usually the flywheel oil seal.
Worn out mounts make it worse
changing the mounts is an easy job and will cut the judder down.
All in the haynes

I've got a bit of that - most noticable in reverse. More likely to be the inners or outers, Kev? Or just do all four?

Could also be the VERY expensive gearbox nose mount.
