Hi,
I have enough Fibre Glass insulation to do behind my interior panels on my Caravelle. Should i put the insulation in plastic covers to help keep it dry. The bus does not leak through the sliding windows.

definitely! It'll trap moisture if you don't.

Cheers I'd thought I'd have to cover it up.

Are you sold on fibreglass? just cos they dont leak now doesn't mean they wont in the future. if you must go down that route definitley seal them up. Other options are thermawrap or kingspan. create a vapour barrier to reduce condensation forming from habitation breathing/kettles etc. Otherwise your bagged rockwool may still trap moisture at the bottom.

Not totally sold on the idea no. It's just that after buying my bus im pretty skint and i have some loft insulation spare. I might just brave the cold this summer and wait till winter when i have spare cash to insulate properly.

dont forget what a nightmare that stuff can be, itching and scratching, not what you want in a small space even in sealed bags.

Good point! I've knocked it on the head now. Going to insulate properly when I can afford it...
