P&O Ferry booking bug...save some cash

....dont know how much use this will be, but thought I'd mention it anyway. 
Trying to book 7-10 days in France in peak season? If you try August at the moment fares are around 80+ each way from Dover with P&O.... BUT:
If you put your dates a couple of days apart instead (but no more than 3 I think) you can select a nice cheap fare or 39 quid for youe outward journey. Then for you return journey click "next crossing time" for about 20mins until you reach the return date you really want a week later. It wont do this forever, and stops at 10 days in my experience (a pain as I was trying for two weeks). But you should be able to get a fare of 80quid return over 180ish quid if you simply put your correct dates in at the start.
Note: I've only tried this for a few dates in August, so dont know if it works with all dates, also I haven't booked and paid for it, so I dont know if it baulks at the final stage.
Worth a punt though if this is your prefered route and carrier this summer!
