please add you name to the list if you would like too attend, we will effectively be wild camping from Friday 27 May through to Monday 30 May at designated farm/sites and a pub in the middle (so vans and there passengers need to be self sufficent for the long weekend).
jenny will be publishing a booking form in due course that will need to be completed.
in the mean time if you could add you name the thread it would be helpful so we can idea of numbers etc
many thanks neil

For god sake Neil dont be filling out any official forms. The Cost to Cost does sound an expensive Syncronauts outing though

How difficult or easy will the route be,
I am free that weekend and would like to attend, but don't want to slow the group down being a novice
Also I would be bringing along Jonathan and Jake, 8 and 6 year old monkeys, do you think it will be suitable.

There's nothing extreme involved - nice scenery, long days, hopefully the sun will shine, and we'll make sure we have stops, but it is wild camping self contained, we'll get water everyday otherwise it's pack in pack out, hit the shops and garages in passing, probably fish and chips in RobinHoodsBay (or Whitby it's cheaper : ))

there will be water avalible at the first and last site, have not confirmed this with the middle stop but would not think that it is a problem. i have not been on a syncro event where kids have not enjoyed them self as much as the grown ups.

I'm wanting to come up for the 2nd day in the IllToss.
Helwith bridge isn't too far, I'll bring the ear defenders!

Question:
Is this a full four day event?
Ie, does the convoy meet on friday morning for a full day of driving, then continue through the weekend till monday afternoon.
Or is it meet on friday, camp and set of on saturday morning.
Just trying to establish what time I'd need to take off work.

OK, I’d like to come and play, once I’ve put the van back together (as ever it's being "improved"...

) like the "cost to cost" typo, very appropriate for Syncro's ....
The list therefore is
Syncropatrick
Aidan
Matflint
Andy McCSyncro
John Potter (provisional but keen)
