idle on 2.1 gone, will rev but dies??

Hi, engine has been great, fired it up after 6mths outside on first turn, 2 trips to anglesea over last 2 weekends so over 500 miles i reckon, used the more expensive petrol on way home and was doing 70-80 no probs all the way.
went to move it after "jimpainter" worked his magic on my rear arches and it starts but dies instantly. will rev with a heavy foot but dies as soon as foots off. could it be poop somewhere as rear was jacked up? its a 2.1 with no lambda sensor so runs a bit high ( 1200 when it feels like it on idle ).
any ideas would be great.
