Good choice!
I grew up near there and we still go a lot.
We used to go to durdle door campsite - its been going for years, bit caravanny but nice under the pines and close to Lulworth cove.
Eweleaze farm nearer weymouth is fun too but only open in aug I think. lots of posh nobs but fun anyway. Bit hard getting in with a hightop down the single track. half way down is a height barrier they have to open manually and it gets a bit muddy.
Tom's field in Purbeck is nice as is Burnbake. neither are too far away.
Excellent fishing/snorkelling/diving around there too, lots of wildlife.
Happy trails

There's a really good one at osmington mills which is a bit further along than lulworth.
There's a corker of a site near Corfe castle, forgot what it's called.

Just come back from that area - it was lovely! We stayed on a C&CC 5 van site at Shave Cross near Bridport but only visited Lulworth and Durdle for the day. Several other 5 van sites in the area though.

Hi
We have just returned from a short break there and used Beacon Hill Touring Park - located nr poole and close enough to drive to to durdle door and lulworth cove.
Has got mixed reviews on uk camping but we found it to be fine and would recommend..
There is a site within walking distance of durdle door beach - google durdle door camping - run by the lulworth estate - that looked great but a bit dearer than beacon hill
Regards
Matt
