Silly Idea? Welding Safe to Floor

Hi Guys,
I am starting to think about security in my van. Let's face it these are an absolute gem for thieves to break into
One thing I was considering was a small electronic safe on the floor inside one of my cupboards with few small welds to hold it in place. Can then be used for valuables, passport and even ignition key if I decide to get a pissed nights kip in so plod won't accuse me of intention to drive.
Anyone done this before? Recommend a safe?
Thanks

Was just considering small 1 inch weld on each side?
To rivet I guess id have to drill through save and floor pan?

was thinking blind rivnuts rather than pop rivits, which a screwdriver used as a lever would rip out..... but you could remove it if you wanted with rivnuts and bolts. three holes would be less mess than welding tho....

Unfortunately I don't know much about riveting etc other than when at school we used little rivet gun to hold our DT made coat hanger parts together lol
If you get some time could you post a link to what product you mean and brief explanation.
Cheers

Thanks for that grumps
They look ideal as at least I can then remove it if I wish.
I assume I would need to drill 3 holes from inside the safe unless it has some pre drilled.

dunno how big your safe is, but i'd guess you;d need to drill tree holes from outside the safe, unless you have a small drill or a big safe?????
use bolts down through the safe floor, onto rivnuts into van floor.......so you cant get to bolt heads unless safe is open
