Me and my clan arrived yesterday. As we are only here for a short time we are staying around the Boulogne and Le Touquet area. Loads of campsites along this coast. We are having fun but the weather is strange. Lots of sunshine then sudden thunderstorms that clear up after a short time. What's happening back in blighty? Are all the rain clouds following me?

On the camping municipal site at Le Treport now. We are off to a restaurant for moules frites this evening to a place we visited last year. Bon appetite!

Weather was cloudy here this morning then sun broke through midday and now loverly.. Just lighting the BBQ.

The mussels were superb! We all have a fixed price 15euro three course meal last night. My daughter even had a 10oz steak and chips as part of her meal. This is serious food at sensible prices!
