Slick 50 engine oil additive

Has anyone used Slick 50 in their T25 engines? Is it worth the £20? I put some in an Alfa (flat 4 engine) when it was 50k and the engine was still strong (45psi oil press) when I sold it at 179k.
Difference for me is that my vehicle now is a VW diesel in line 4.
Any comments, + or - , please let me know!

Look at it this way. If it was any good the oil companies would add it to their off the shelf oil by now as it's been on the market for years. They don't so it's clearly not worth it.

not everyone is a fan. :D The report I didn't link to didn't like it either.

I remember an advert from long ago (early 70s) where Molyslip - THE addidtive of the time - got 2 ageing Escorts and treated one with Molyslip for a few weeks. The then drained the sump of both cars and sent them 'round Crystal Palace racing circuit. The advert showed the treated car going on longer than the untreated. What the advert didn't show was how far the untreated one went before destroying itself. A very long way!

General feelings are that if additives really did any good the oil companies would be selling them. For now, regular oil & filter changes are the best way to go.

I've used teflon coatings on every VW I've had and its saved my life no end of times. But yes, regular oil and filter changes are vital to any engine.
