Damn! That's a good price.
My best quote was for 60 - 75 euro per wheel - blasted and powder coated in satin black.

just think to yourself rob, roughly how long it would take to strip(bead last, dipp if powdered) then clean (degrease/ tack off etc) pre heat, then powder , quality check, bubble wrap or just cover up,all this after you've paid to have tyres removed, then when you've come up with a time, truthfully say how much you would want for your own labour, you'll have a very rough idea of the cost, if you can get it done a fair bit cheaper professionally.... mmmm you get what you pay for. (oh and powder in't magic, it doesn't replace hard graft and care, to achieve a nice finish) which if that's you want, you may need to use wet spray and powder combined. IMHO :ok

I wouldnt powder coat wheels,or anything that has to face the elements. Its like an eggs shell and theres no real cohesion to what it covers, one chip and the corrosion creeps underneath. You only need to look at any Westfalia kitchen facia to see this in action. Might look good at first but long time I wouldn't.
Rob.

Rob, I know this thread is a couple of months old but, have you tried Prestige Wheels in Furness Vale?

I had a set of Discovery wheels refubed by them a few years ago, they did a good job. Only half an hour away from you plus, you can call on us for a brew if you like
