12v lighting not working

I recently had a problem with the alternator overcharging the batteries (leisure and main).
I bought a new voltage regulator which solved the problem.
I've recently noticed that the 12 volt lights don't work. We connected to hook up on last weekends camping trip and the lights work off that, so the bulbs are fine.
I'm not sure how I'd go about checking the fuses if that is indeed the problem.
I'm due to have a Propex fitted and I heard that it runs off the leisure battery/12 volt.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?
May it just be the case the leisure battery is knackered from the overcharging?
If I had a meter I would check...

Buy a cheapo multimeter. You'll struggle to solve any electrical problem without one.

Anyway; sounds like the leisure battery's flat - whether that's because it's knackered or because the split charge system isn't working you'll have to check. Split charge may be independant to the Zig unit and will have a fuse at both ends of the batteries cable link. The switch feed cable to the relay may not be triggering the relay. Like I say, get a multimeter............

As Bren has said you need a multimeter, but also check if there is a fuse going to the leisure battery if it was overcharging it could have blown?
