Hi Folks

I have a problem with my T25, cuts out when I take my foot off throttle but then starts straight after. I have cleaned Carb, replaced Fuel Pump, Dis, R.Arm,all obvious, wondering if it needs manual choke fitted.Would appreciate some help.

Try using the search for "cutting out" theres quite a few posts about that

On the carb the idle speed cut off valve is electrical. . Does it work?

Thanks mate, yeh it is working, I have ordered a new ignition module but got my doubts this is going to be any good.
Knocking my head against wall with this, carb settings have not been touched.

Try borrowing a hall sender to check that
...and it's been said before, but Air leaks are a prime suspect for stalling as is the tank vent being blocked

the choke/idle speed mechanism only has an effect on idle speed during engine warm up.
The choke flap is easy to see if it works ok.
engine hot and the flap is open
engine cold and the flap is almost closed (3mm gap)
when cold the flap should open when the accelerator is pressed, this is worked by the choke pull down unit.
This unit is prone to failure, when it does it lets air into the inlet side.

you can test it by removing the pipe from the carb and sucking . If you can continually suck then it's shagged.
