Could anyone please point me in the right direction for a better replacement for the 30amp split charge relay in a 1988 Westy. Will also be upgrading the wiring and fuses too, but want to make sure I get a decent relay first.

As you can see, I posted the original info in the linked post.
The original Westfalia relay is a 5 pin with 2 live outputs but as these outputs are connected electrically anyway, there is no reason why you shouldn't upgrade to a heavier duty but with 4 pins. All you would need to do is connect both output wires (pins 87 X2) to one large yellow spade (9.5mm) and fit this 70 amp relay.
This makes your upgrade simpler because you can still use the original 6.3mm (standard) switching and earth cables leaving only the positive feed wire from the starter battery to relay and relay to leisure, to upgrade.
I suggest a 30 amp fuse (to start with) and holder close to the starter battery in the upgraded wiring.

This relay will be plenty big enough, no need for 100/200 amp relays unless you are charging 'banks' of batteries.
