Our week in Cornwall

Hi everyone, just returned from a fabulous week spent down in Cornwall, the girls weren't sure how good the weather would be early April so the decision was made to book a cottage & to use the van as transport only. So, having got the van booked in the week before we left to get a 3 point belt fitted in the back we set off with more bags than i envisaged & a full tank of petrol.
In the 2 yrs i've owned this van i've grown to love driving it more & more every time i go out & having covered 992 trouble free miles on this trip it was definitely a wise choice selling my bay & buying the T25.
We stayed just outside Tintagel with great sea views but personnally wishing we were booked in to the campsite on the cliffs that i looked at with envy every morning. Day trips to places such as Mousehole, Fowey, St. Ives, Eden Project, Bude, Padstow, Rock, Perranporth & Newquay kept us busy all week, apart from 1 easy day with a walk into Tintagel to visit the castle & a chance for me to have a couple of pints with my lunch.
All too quickly the week came to an end, so a quick detour to Tavistock to visit friends was made before we made our way back via Dartmoor to Exeter & then the A303.
Having read the other week the debate about waving at other VW's & who waves back i'd say i got a 50% success rate on waves back in my direction from all, passed 4 T25's on the way down & not 1 wave came back from them. Most enthusiastic waves came from a white T25 hitop in Newquay & a blue syncro in St. Ives, oh & a brazilian bay.
All in all a brilliant week away, made all the more better by the fact that whilst parked on the clifftop near Gwithian waiting for the sun to go down i managed to coax my girlfriend out of the van into the freezing cold wind & without dropping the ring i asked her to marry me. She said yes!!

Just thought i'd share this with you all.
