I wrote a short story about our trip to France 1999. It fits nicely under the heading camping and travelling and if you too are planning a trip this summer it might give you some tips on how not to do it. But don't let it put you off!

I've been to most of the places you mentioned and still go to France every year.

My first camper was a 1973 bay before I moved onto 3 T25s in a row. As much as I loved my bay, the T25 is a better van to me. Although, my bay only let me down once when the clutch cable broke. It was mended by cutting some heavy wire from a fence. (sorry to the owner of the fence).
