First trip of the spring

weather looked nice so headed to Loch Lomond and stayed on a touring pitch on a "holiday park" not bad, nice views, play area for the kids and a tv/pool room for the wife for £25 a night...

next morning weather looked even more promising so headed north to Fort William and then onto Mallaig. Still spurred on by the sun we decided to spur of the moment get the last ferry to Skye. £33 for van and 4 one way but we did see a seal!
The camouflage didnt work too well on board though and the natives started to get curious...

Skye is beautiful (but possibly a bit boring if you dont like the views...) and we stayed the night at the closed site at the Sligachan Hotel for free/the cost of a few pints in the bar! (just hadnt opened yet for the season...definately missed a trick there as was a good dozen or so vans and tents spread over the site)

headed back home via the Skye bridge and Glencoe on Sunday

...now off on holiday from tomorrow so just wondering where next...
