Thank you in advance for any offered advice.
Just recently the temp light flashes continously after ignition,
however if I switch off and back on the light flashes then stops,
I suspect it's a faulty temperature sender,but am
not sure where they even are on my 1.9 dg,let alone how to change them both for new ones,
the continuos flashing is telling me something but what ???
Regards joe

We have same prob on our dg model!!! Our fuelgauge stopped working at the same time as the temp gauge. We were told by several people that it is the diode sensor that made us loose fuel gauge and temp and that its this part that needs replacing .( has little metal prongs)
we ordere the part and will receive it Tuesday in the mail so we'll see how it goes.

remove the load reduction relay and put it back in, often dirty contacts on this mean poor current supply to those bits supplied by it which includes the temp relay - damp from water ingress around the windscreen usual cause - removing and replacing the relays will often clean the contacts enough to improve things and costs nowt, ditto cleaning the earth crowns and connections
