Protection for the lower front door corners

RE Protection for the lower front door corners.

This is more summat to protect other folks cars when you are in a car park, parked close to another car.
When you open the door you are often in danger of the bottom corner catching some else's paint :shock:

Normal Halfords type door edge protectors don't work on our vans.

Anyone got any suggestions ?
(other than the daft ones I am expecting, like "leave a bigger space" - "go in and out through the side or back" - "just take off the doors" - err - "park it somewhere else" - etc :wink: )

How about the actual stick on rubber moulding that VW actually used? Just to the left of the '1664' sticker in this old photo.

If VW used them they must have used crap glue because that's the first time I have seen one

Oh :oops: are they not a VW part then - I just assumed they were......didn't think to look when I removed them for the respay
